Petty Officer 1st Class Michael J. Pittenger, son of Jan and Jim Pittenger of Pinellas Park, has returned from a six-month deployment to the Middle East. Pittenger, whose home port is Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is a cryptographic technician supervisor on the USS Okane.
