The state pension fund invests aggressively, keeping two-thirds of its assets in stocks. Though returns aren't guaranteed and the fund lost millions when Enron collapsed, don't expect a change in strategy. Overall the approach has paid off handsomely.

STAR SEATING: They may not all take home an Oscar, but the winners, nominees and presenters at tonight's Academy Awards all will take home a La-Z-Boy. A certificate for one of four styles of the recliner chair is included in the gift basket traditionally given to Oscar participants. This year is the first time a La-Z-Boy is included.
