Cell phones: the next generation
It's hot in Japan and Europe. Now the third generation of wireless networks, or 3G, is hitting the U.S. airwaves, but not all of the promised features will be available initially.
Give me a new wireless gadget and a higher-speed wireless connection to the Net and normally I'd be in tech heaven. But testing a new AT&T Wireless phone and the new mMode service left me with mixed feelings. Story
