NBC renews 'Third Watch'
Following huge numbers for its April 29 crossover episode with ER, NBC's Third Watch has received a new lease on life. The network announced Wednesday it will renew the show for a fourth season.

In the news
Denying there ever had been a specific deadline, a spokesman for author J.K. Rowling on Thursday said the fifth book in the Harry Potter series might not be published until next year. Rowling likely won't finish writing Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix before the end of the year, Rebecca Salt said. Still, Salt said of a publication date: "It could be this year, and it could be next year."
