Xpress, the Coolest Section of the St. Petersburg Times, is the home for features, news and views of interest to young readers. Most of the work in Xpress, which appears on Mondays in Floridian, is produced by the Times' X-Team. The team of journalists ages 9-17 from around the Tampa Bay area is selected every year at the end of the school year to serve during the following school term. The current team of 12 was chosen out of 150 applicants. Watch for X-Team application forms in Xpress during the month of May.

Are you a football fan? Do you like helping out and volunteering in your community? Would you like to watch live football games and hang out at Raymond James Stadium? The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a great opportunity for you. The Bucs' Student Advisory Board is accepting applications for the 2002-2003 season through Friday.

Do I need a relationship to feel good about me?
I keep thinking I am supposed to be excited about my teenage years, making lots of friends, hanging out with the group and having fun. If all of this is true, why do I feel depressed so often? I find myself standing in the hallway, sitting in the cafeteria and going to social activities by myself. I look around and see other people with dates, and I feel inadequate and insecure.

Xpressions, is a monthly showcase for the art, writing and photography of students through the 12th grade. Xpressions appears the last Monday of each month.
