Let me prepare you for middle school
I just finished my first year in middle school. Let me tell you: I was not really ready for what I walked into this past year. I had heard all the stories about peer pressure, additional homework and the potential for me to be involved for the first time in the drug, alcohol and sex scenes. I walked in believing I could just say no and all my friends would do the same. I had the idea that I would be keeping the same friends I had made during elementary school, and everything would be okay.
