Fire leads to revision of hydrant policies
Two weeks ago, we experienced a tragedy that we -- like other communities -- train for, prepare for and hope will never come. But on June 28 there was a devastating fire in the Dolphin Cove condominiums in Island Estates that resulted in the loss of life of two residents and serious injuries to three of our firefighters. I extend my sincerest sympathies to the family and friends of those residents, and pray for the speedy recovery of our teammates.
