How can I win back your trust?
I have made mistakes before, but I've always been able to win back your trust easily. I never thought you would get to the point that you -- my parents -- would ever stop trusting me. I've always looked at our relationship as solid, and you always have been forgiving. I never thought I would push you too far. I understand it is not just what I did, but also how I deceived you. I have told you numerous times how very sorry I am, but every time I say the words they sound hollow. If I say I'm sorry, I truly am. I'm not just trying to get on your good side. I don't know how to make things right between us. I feel like I'm on the outside looking in at our family right now. I wish you would tell me what to do to fix what I have destroyed and betrayed.
