EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Bruce Springsteen opened a concert tour at an arena within sight of New York City's changed skyline Wednesday, offering songs inspired by the terrorist attacks to a hometown audience.

TAMPA -- Jobsite Theater is completing its fourth season, but it doesn't have a clue what works onstage. The company, in residence at the Shimberg Playhouse at Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, seems to be more influenced by video games, kung-fu fighting, head-banging rock and slasher flicks than the art of live theater.
