Letter from Takamatsu: In Japan, beware the sophomore slump In my last dispatch I wrote about Japan's mix of Western and Eastern cultures. I even suggested that the United States could stand to see more aspects of Japanese society within its borders. Specifically, I wrote about the kind and outgoing nature of the Japanese people and the brilliant convenience of the technology here.
