Hot tempers create flap over chicken order
I am writing in regard to a disturbing experience I had at a Popeyes restaurant and the lack of follow-up by Popeyes personnel. I had seven people over to my house for a Father's Day get-together, and we decided we wanted fried chicken for dinner. My roommate's mother and I drove to a Popeyes restaurant in St. Petersburg because we prefer its chicken. We ordered 20 pieces of chicken and three side-order combos for a total of $37.41. When the order was given to us, it didn't look like enough food was there. The on-duty manager, who had taken our order, assured us that all the chicken was in one box, and showed us what was in each of the side-dish containers. When we got home, we discovered there were only 10 pieces in the box, not 20.
