County should find the money to have it all
Editor: Here's the dilemma. I've got a couple thousand dollars extra and I would really like to take a vacation. It would be good for me, the family, and my colleagues if I took a few days off. On the other hand, the washer is about to go; we could use a set of tires on the minivan; and the kid's teeth are a mess. I wish I could do both, but I've only got one pot of money to choose from. My financial adviser would tell me I need to stick to a budget, develop a long term plan and look for ways to increase my income.
