Curtis, 77, hadn't been onstage since he started making movies in the 1940s until Some Like It Hot: The Musical, which is in the middle of a tour that arrives at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater on New Year's Eve. He plays Osgood Fielding III, the millionaire played by Joe E. Brown in the movie.
