PIANIST JOHN BELL YOUNG will perform classical favorites at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hudson Regional Library, 8012 Library Road (off Fivay Road), Hudson. Young has performed in Europe and the U.S. and was winner of the 1985 Chopin Foundation Council Prize in New York. Admission is $3. Tickets can be bought at any Pasco County library or at the door (if available).

OIL PAINTINGS by Joyce Corcoran are on exhibit in the gift shop's minigallery at the Pasco Arts Center through Jan. 31. Works by the Exhibiting Society of Arts are in the main gallery through Feb. 28. The center is at 5744 Moog Road, Holiday. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Admission is free.

BOB AND SUE PLUMTON will sing and perform on keyboard at 7 p.m. Monday at the Jewish Community Center of West Pasco, 9841 Scenic Drive, Port Richey. Ms. Plumton has played with Mickey Gilley, Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn. Admission is $3.

SUNCOAST SHIP MODELERS open an exhibit, "The Craft of the Shipbuilder," on Monday at the Alric C.T. Pottberg Library on the west campus of Pasco-Hernando Community College, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. The exhibit includes models of sailing vessels from the 17th and 18th centuries, modern sailing schooners, fish boats, working tugboats, paddle wheel riverboats, speedboats and "ships in a bottle" miniatures, miniature working steam engines and nautical dioramas. The exhibit continues through Feb. 3. Viewing hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and 2 to 4 p.m. Sundays. Admission is free.

LEVENDIA AND THE GREEK WINTER DANCE CONFERENCE will present Greek dances and songs at 3 p.m. Sunday at Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center, 324 Pine St., Tarpon Springs. Tickets are $12. Call (727) 942-5605.

"FOUR CHICKS FROM OUT OF TOWN: Living Without a Net,' an exhibit of artwork by four area women based on Clarissa Pinkola Estes' book Women Who Run with the Wolves, opens Tuesday and runs through Jan. 31 at Tarpon Springs Cultural Center, 101 S Pinellas Ave. (Alt. 19), Tarpon Springs. Artists are Trish Demasky, Susan Duda-Schultz, Karren Tolliver and Jamie Wojciechowski. A meet-the-artists reception will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 18. Entertainers will be flutist Nick Demasky, guitarist Billy Keenaghan and belly dancer Donna Keenaghan. Exhibit hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Admission is free.

CARIBBEAN SOUND steel drum band of Jacksonville will perform tropical, classical and popular music at 8 p.m. Jan. 11 at Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center, 324 Pine St., Tarpon Springs. Admission is $13. Call (727) 942-5605.

THE RIVER RATS musical comedy group will perform at a dinner show at Aripeka Elks Lodge 2520 in Hudson on Jan. 11. Dinner of chicken breast will be served at 6 p.m., show at 7:30 p.m. Prime seating is $22; all other, $20. FOLK SINGER/MUSICIAN BONNIE WHITEHURST will perform at 7 p.m. Jan. 12 at the Pasco Arts Center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday. Ms. Whitehurst plays harp, mountain and hammered dulcimers, psaltery, autoharp and guitar. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door. The center is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
