By Times staff writer "LA CAGE AUX FOLLES,' the musical version of The Birdcage, opens today and continues through Feb. 16 at Show Palace Dinner Theatre, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson. Shows are at 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays; 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and 3 p.m. Sundays. Doors open two hours before each show for buffet and cash bar. Ms. Plumton has played with Mickey Gilley, Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn. Admission is $3. SUNCOAST SHIP MODELERS open an exhibit, "The Craft of the Shipbuilder," on Monday at the Alric C.T. Pottberg Library on the west campus of Pasco-Hernando Community College, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. The exhibit includes models of sailing vessels from the 17th and 18th centuries, modern sailing schooners, fish boats, working tugboats, paddle wheel riverboats, speedboats and "ships in a bottle" miniatures, miniature working steam engines and nautical dioramas. The exhibit continues through Feb. 3. Viewing hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and 2 to 4 p.m. Sundays. Admission is free.
