A major event this weekend at Raymond James Stadium has bay area fans thinking "Super Bowl."

But King Krunch, Predator and Maximum Destruction aren't nicknames for the Bucs' vaunted defense.

They're trucks scheduled to appear at the U.S. Hot Rod Association's Superbowl of Motorsports monster truck event, rolling into Tampa on Saturday. Other featured trucks scheduled to appear are Grave Digger (driven by Dennis Anderson), High Roller, Ragin' Steel, Prowler, Reptoid, Bulldozer and Gun Slinger, above, driven by Oldsmar's Scott Hartsock.

The pit party starts at 2:30 p.m. Saturday; stadium doors open at 5:30. The truck rally begins at 7:30. Tickets are $14. Free passes for the pit party are available at Tampa area Ford dealers. (813) 673-4300 or www.ushra.com.
