TALLAHASSEE -- For a team looking to rebound after its first five-loss season since 1981, next season's Florida State schedule that was released Thursday looks daunting.
In addition to its eight ACC games, which include trips to Virginia and Clemson, the Seminoles play host to Big 12 power Colorado on Sept. 20 and Miami on Oct. 11 and visit Notre Dame on Nov. 1 and Florida on Nov. 29.

TRESSEL HONORED: Jim Tressel, who led Ohio State to the national championship, won the Bear Bryant Award as coach of the year.
Tressel won over Miami's Larry Coker and six other finalists: Iowa's Kirk Ferentz; former Alabama coach Dennis Franchione, now at Texas A&M; former Washington State coach Mike Price, now at Alabama; Georgia's Mark Richt; Southern California's Pete Carroll and Notre Dame's Tyrone Willingham.
Former Arkansas coach Frank Broyles received a lifetime achievement award. It was presented by former Texas coach Darrell Royal.
"It's the easiest thing I've ever had to do because there's no one that's been of service to college football and athletics in general over a longer period than Frank," Royal said.
ARKANSAS-PINE BLUFF: Former Washington Redskins linebacker Monte Coleman was chosen as linebackers coach.
COLORADO: Defending World Cup moguls champion Jeremy Bloom said he has not decided whether to return to skiing full-time after spending the fall playing football for the Buffaloes.
GEORGIA: Tight end Ben Watson, the last of four juniors to say he would enter the NFL draft, decided to return.
N.C. STATE: Two players were arrested and charged with a felony for using a campus debit card that did not belong to them.
Cornerback Marcus Hudson and linebacker Corrie Dawson used an all-campus card at a vending machine Tuesday that belonged to another student, N.C. State police said.
The players turned themselves in to campus police, sports information director Annabelle Vaughan said.
Vaughan also said coach Chuck Amato has suspended Hudson and Dawson indefinitely.
