Brown-Waite's staffers plan sessions with constituentsBy Times staff writer© St. Petersburg Times published January 31, 2003 CRYSTAL RIVER -- Staff members from U.S. Rep. Ginny Brown-Waite's office will host constituent outreach meetings throughout the 5th Congressional District in the coming weeks to meet with residents and discuss their views and concerns. They will explain how to get in touch with Brown-Waite's office to remedy a problem, offer general assistance and information, and outline what services are available through Brown-Waite's office. "My district is a very large one, geographically," Brown-Waite said in prepared remarks. "Since it's not convenient for many of my constituents to come to my offices in Brooksville and Dade City, my offices are coming to them. I hope to have several constituents take advantage of this opportunity and hope to get a great amount of feedback from these meetings." Staffer Joyce Valentino will hold the first such Citrus County meetings on Tuesday. From 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. she will be at Crystal River City Hall, 123 NW U.S. 19, and from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Inverness City Hall, 212 W Main St. No appointment is needed. The plan is to hold meetings at the same times and places the first Tuesday monthly. Call Brown-Waite's office toll-free at 1-866-492-4835.
