DADE CITY -- A 79-year-old woman involved in an accident Wednesday with two dump trucks has been upgraded to fair condition at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa.

Eleanora Meeker of 10936 Tumbleweed Drive in Dade City was trying to turn south from Clinton Avenue onto Prospect Road when she drove into the path of a dump truck driving north, according to Florida Highway Patrol reports.

The dump truck struck Meeker's tan Buick sedan, then veered head-on into another dump truck, creating a fiery blast.

Both dump truck drivers -- Jeffery Tokotch, 34, of 17740 Akins Drive in Spring Hill, and Dennis D. Schoelzel, 57, of 5400 Hill Drive in Zephyrhills -- were treated at Tampa hospitals and released.

Two of Meeker's passengers also were treated and released Wednesday.

Meeker was cited with failure to yield the right-of-way.
