BATON ROUGE, La. -- LSU forward Jaime Lloreda was suspended Friday for one game by the SEC after elbowing Florida's Brett Nelson on the head.
Lloreda will miss today's game against Alabama.
Coach John Brady said he supported the decision.
PITTSBURGH: Point guard Brandin Knight participated in light drills but is questionable with a sprained left ankle for tonight's game at No. 24 Syracuse.
Knight landed on Julius Page's foot during practice Wednesday. He did not practice Thursday.
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY STATE: Guard Michael Archie is alert and talkative five days after a nightclub shooting left him paralyzed from the waist down. Archie's doctors said he is stable, his sister, Aundrea Ellis, said. Archie also has wounds to his stomach.
LATE THURSDAY: Luke Jackson scored 27 despite playing with a taped right hand and freshman Ian Crosswhite had eight of his career-high 22 points in overtime as No. 22 Oregon handed host UCLA its seventh straight loss 96-91.
It's the Bruins' longest skid in 57 years. UCLA had a chance to win in regulation but an open Ryan Walcott shot an airball.
Jackson cut his right ring finger against Washington on Jan. 23 and missed one game.
