ACCOUNTING

Robert D. Bogue has been named senior tax accountant in the tax division for the accounting firm of Gregory, Sharer & Stuart, St. Petersburg. Bogue was a staff accountant for Carter, Cartier, Melby & Guarino CPAs, St. Petersburg.

CONSTRUCTION

Randall W. Bascom has been named a project manager for TriMar Construction Inc., Tampa. Bascom was a project manager for Beers Construction Co., Tampa.

CONSULTING

Adam J. Cohen has been named a business development associate for USC Consulting Group, Tampa. Cohen was corporate sales executive for corporate and federal markets for LexisNexis Corp., New Jersey.

ENGINEERING

Robert D. Fudge has been elected to the 2003 board of the Pasco Building Association. Fudge is a project manager and associate at King Engineering Associates Inc., Tampa.

FINANCE

Linda D. Marcelli has been appointed to the board of directors of the Children's Home, Tampa. Marcelli is managing director of Merrill Lynch Tampa Bay complex, Tampa.

HEALTH CARE

Chronic Care Solutions Inc., Clearwater, announced the following appointments: Michael D.D. Geldart, general counsel and chief compliance officer; and Gordon D. Roll, sales and marketing director. Geldart was a partner and co-chairman of the National Health Law Practice Group, and a member of the HIPPA team, both for Holland & Knight, Tampa; and Roll was director of medicare and managed care sales of Bayer Corp.'s Diagnostics Division, Tarrytown, N.Y.

H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, Tampa, announced the following appointments and promotions: Dr. Mokenge P. Malafa, associate professor of oncology and surgery in the gastrointestinal program; and Renee Adamson, manager of respiratory and cardiopulmonary services. Malafa was vice chairman for research in the department of surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Springfield, Ill.; Adamson was supervisor for respiratory and cardiopulmonary services at Moffitt.

ORGANIZATIONS

Oscar J. Horton was elected to the board of directors of Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, St. Petersburg. Horton will serve on the board's finance committee and the services and product development committee. Horton is president of Sun State International Trucks, Tampa.

REAL ESTATE

Patty Malia has been named a property manager for Rubin Management Inc., Clearwater. Malia was a senior property manager for Insignia/ESG Inc., St. Petersburg.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS

Manny Rivero has been promoted to business sales manager for Alltel's Tampa market. Rivero was a retail sales manager for Alltel in Pinellas County.
