BUSHNELL -- The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for witnesses in a car wreck that killed a 15-year-old Bushnell boy who was riding his bicycle.

The crash occurred Dec. 6, 8 miles west of Bushnell, near CR 575 and CR 620. Officials described the car involved as a 1999 or 2000 silver Ford with front-end damage to its right side. The vehicle's bug deflector and windshield could have been damaged, although authorities say the car could have been repaired since the accident.

Anyone with information about the wreck is asked to contact Trooper Laura Inge or Cpl. Vince Parnell at the Highway Patrol's Brooksville station, (352) 754-6767. After business hours, call (813) 631-4020 and ask for the shift commander.
