DADE CITY -- After 20 minutes of scoreless play Monday, Zephyrhills' Renee Yonkoff scored on a kick off her right foot.

Five minutes later, she kicked in a goal with her left foot in a 6-0 win over Gulf. The first-round win advances the No. 2 Bulldogs to Wednesday's semifinal against top seed Land O'Lakes.

"We were playing sloppy," Zephyrhills coach Janet Heyman said. "We were playing kickball, and then we started playing our game of soccer."

Terra Rosensweig also scored twice for Zephyrhills. Allie Beasman and Ann Marie Gildemeyer each added a goal to back Samantha Smith's shutout.

Central edges Leesburg

East Ridge and Central won by identical 1-0 margins at Mitchell.

Fifth-seeded East Ridge advances to Wednesday's semifinal at 6 p.m. against top seed Ridgewood while No. 3 seed Central plays No. 2 Mitchell at 8 p.m.

Jessica Reed scored in the 22nd minute of East Ridge's 1-0 win over No. 4 Springstead.

Central's Jaleesa Scott scored in the first minute of a 1-0 win over No. 6 Leesburg.

Citrus drills West Port

SPARR -- Senior Sonya Segars scored three of her team's six second-half goals to lead Citrus to a 7-0 victory over Ocala West Port.

"We just didn't dribble as much in the second half," Segars said. "We stopped taking shots from 50 yards out."

Jenny Floyd tipped in two goals for the Hurricanes (12-5-3), who play Dunnellon at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Led by a pair of first-half goals from Ashley Williams and Elisha Young, Crystal River downed North Marion 2-0. Williams scored her goal midway through the first half and left the game two minutes later due to a knee injury. She was taken to a hospital and her status is unknown for Wednesday's game against Lecanto.
