BOULDER, Colo. -- Michel Morandais scored 24, including a tiebreaking 3-pointer with 1:58 left that triggered a 13-0 run, and Colorado upset No. 3 Texas 93-80 on Tuesday night.

Colorado, which beat a Top 10 team for the second time in 13 days, also got 23 points from Blair Wilson and 18 points and 14 rebounds from Stephane Pelle.

Brandon Mouton and James Thomas each scored 19 for Texas.

The Buffaloes, who beat then-No. 6 Kansas 60-59 on Jan. 22, broke it open over the final two minutes of a second half that had 19 lead changes.

After struggling from the free-throw line most of the night, the Buffaloes were 12-of-14 over the final 3:19.

David Harrison, who had 16 points, hit two free throws to give Colorado an 80-74 lead with 2:50 remaining. Until those shots, neither team led by more than four in the second half.

The Longhorns countered with six straight free throws, four by T.J. Ford, to tie it at 80 with 2:14 to go.

Morandais' 3-pointer from the left was followed by his steal and a free throw by teammate Antoine McGee. After Morandais blocked a shot, he stole an inbounds and was fouled, making both free throws for an 86-80 lead with 1:05 left.

While the Longhorns were missing 3-pointers, McGee and Wilson each hit two more free throws, and Harrison's fastbreak layup made it 92-80.

NO. 4 PITT 68, PROVIDENCE 61: The Panthers, making the free throws they couldn't in losing their previous game, overcame Ryan Gomes' 26 points and Providence's upset bid.

Ontario Lett scored 15 of his 18 in the first half as Pitt opened a 13-point lead, then withstood a determined comeback to stay unbeaten at home.

Jaron Brown added 15 points and made 6 of 7 free throws in the second half, and Brandin Knight had 11 points and nine rebounds as Pitt won for the seventh time in eight games.

NO. 13 CREIGHTON 84, N. IOWA 75: Michael Lindeman scored 20, including two 3-pointers late in the game, and the host Bluejays became the first Division I team to win 20. Creighton reached the milestone for the fifth straight season.

The Bluejays had difficulty putting away the Panthers until the final minutes. Nate Funk's jump shot in the lane with 7:47 left put Creighton ahead to stay 66-64 and started a 9-1 run.

After Funk's basket, Brody Deren swatted away Chris Foster's shot on the other end, then Lindeman swished a 3-pointer from the corner to bring the Civic Auditorium crowd of 8,827 to its feet.

NO. 20 XAVIER 80, GW 68: Lionel Chalmers, playing his second game since returning from a broken foot, scored 17 to lead the visiting Musketeers to their seventh straight win.

David West had 13 points and 13 rebounds for Xavier, his eighth straight double double, and his seventh rebound made him the Atlantic 10's career leader. West passed former George Washington player Mike Brown, who had 1,166 rebounds.

NO. 18 UCONN: Coach Jim Calhoun attended his last practice before taking a leave of absence for prostate cancer treatment. The Huskies play at Virginia Tech tonight. The next day, Calhoun is scheduled to have surgery. He expects to miss three to four weeks.

In the first overtime, Southern Mississippi's Greg Johnson hit a jumper with just under a minute left that tied it at 71.

MEMPHIS 73, ECU 49: Rodney Carney scored career-high 22 as the host Tigers built a double-digit lead early in the second half and never were threatened. Carney led a strong outside shooting attack for Memphis, which hit 11 of 28 3-pointers.

TULANE 65, HOUSTON 58: Waitari Marsh scored 18 to reach 1,000 for his career as the visiting Green Wave won its third in a row.

UCF 98, CAMPBELL 69: Ed Dotson had 20 points on 10-for-13 shooting for the visiting Golden Knights. Roberto Morentin and Ray Abellard each scored 12 for Central Florida. The Golden Knights shot 63 percent and outrebounding the Camels 41-20.

FAU 59, GARDNER-WEBB 57: Nick Neumann's tip-in at the buzzer won it for the visiting Owls, who won after blowing a nine-point lead with less than six minutes to play.
