Spring brings area museums a bounty of fine art, rich in quality and diversity. Check it out.

Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg -- Through March 23, "Drawn Toward the Avant-Garde: 19th and 20th Century French Drawings," a remarkable collection of work that stretches the definition of drawing.
USF Contemporary Art Museum, Tampa -- Through March 15, "UnNaturally," works by 15 artists who explore the boundaries between nature and artifice.
John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, Sarasota -- Through April 27, "Of Hands and Fire: Masterpieces of Chinese Ceramics," a first look at the extraordinary Koger Collection donated to the museum.
Salvador Dali Museum, St. Petersburg -- Through May 4, "The Sape of Colorm" painted sculptures of Joan Miro.
Tampa Museum of Art -- Through April 20, "Magna Graecia," ancient Greek art from Italy and Sicily, in the United States for the first time.
