Four days after Barret Robbins acknowledged he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, Raiders lineman Frank Middleton isn't ready to mend fences with his teammate.

Middleton, perhaps the most critical Raider of Robbins after Robbins was suspended from the team the day before the the Super Bowl, said Thursday he wants to meet with Robbins to discuss his situation.

"We have to talk man to man," Middleton said on ESPN Radio. "It's kind of shocking. Is it true or is his agent doing some covering up of some of the problems or issues that he had? We're still on the fence right now."

In other Raiders news, the woman who accused defensive tackle Darrell Russell of drugging her and video taping her rape filed a civil lawsuit five months after charges were dropped.

COWBOYS: Former defensive lineman Dimitrius Underwood is not mentally competent to stand trial on robbery and assault charges and will be receive treatment in a hospital, a Dallas County jury decided.

LIONS: Coach Steve Mariucci hired three former 49ers assistants: Richard Smith as assistant head coach/linebackers coach, Andy Sugarmen as an offensive assistant and Kevin Lartigue as an administrative assistant.

SKIING WITH WUNSCH: Ten children from the Tampa Bay area will be among 32 pediatric cancer patients attending a Feb. 12-16 Circle of Friends ski trip to Wausau, Wis., home of former Bucs tackle Jerry Wunsch, who sponsors the event. Wunsch was waived by the Bucs in August and is with the Seahawks. Rams defensive end Grant Wistrom, a co-sponsor of the Wunsch Family Foundation, will accompany nine children from St. Louis.
