Many fans celebrated the Bucs' Super Bowl victory by buying a cap or a T-shirt. Team owner Malcolm Glazer bought a Denver shopping center.
Glazer's First Allied Pennsylvania Corp. paid $6.35-million for a 19,720-square-foot center in Denver, or a whopping $322 per square foot, according to the Denver Post. "It's pretty breathtaking," Kevin Kelley, a local developer, told the newspaper.
But the shopping center is in a rapidly developing neighborhood. So Glazer may have viewed it as a property with real growth potential. Like a certain football team he once bought.
