BROOKSVILLE -- A 24-year-old Brooksville man was arrested Saturday after law enforcement officials say he had sex with a 10-year-old.
Charles Willie Nix, 325 Beale Ave., was charged with sexual battery on a child younger than 12 after officials say the girl became pregnant, according to a Hernando County sheriff's report.
The girl is pregnant, police say, but it's not clear who the father is. Investigators said she may have had sex with men other than Nix.
Nix was taken to Hernando County Jail, where he was being held Sunday on $15,000 bail.
