Entering Friday, Bruins C Joe Thornton was third in the league with 68 points and had three goals, three assists in his past five games. ... C Brian Rolston was tied for second with four short-handed goals but had no goals in six games before scoring the winner against the Panthers on Friday. ... RW Glen Murray was second with 223 shots but had one goal in his past seven games. ... Tampa Bay's Dan Boyle was fourth among defensemen with 41 points and third with 33 assists. ... Boston had lost two straight overall and was 1-6-0 in its past seven on the road before winning at Florida. ...
