LAND O'LAKES -- A woman came home Thursday afternoon and noticed more than $12,000 in gold jewelry was missing from her home.

Sandra Tudela, 56, was "almost positive" all the doors were locked when she left her house about 1 p.m. to run errands, according to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report. When she returned about 3:45 p.m., Tudela told deputies, her front door and a rear sliding glass door were open.

The burglar made off with 22 pieces of jewelry, including seven rings, four watches, three men's tie tacks, two bracelets, two necklaces, two sets of diamond cuff links, a belt buckle and a money clip, the report said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Pasco County Sheriff's Office toll-free at 1-800-854-2862.
