PEORIA, Ill. -- James Gillingham had 20 points and Phillip Gilbert added 17, including seven in overtime, as Bradley beat Southern Illinois on Saturday.

Mike Suggs added 20 points for Bradley (10-14, 6-7 MVC), winner for the third time in four games.

Bradley took a two-point lead with less than a minute left, but Jermaine Dearman made a pair of free throws with 13 seconds to go for Southern Illinois (17-5, 12-2) to force overtime.

Dearman had 17 points and seven rebounds for the Salukis, who lost a chance for first place in the conference. Stetson Hairston led SIU with 18 points, but committed seven turnovers.

UP NEXT: vs. SW Missouri State, 8:05 p.m. Wednesday.
