When heroes and hearts fall

Some wrote of tears. Some wrote of sadness -- their own as well as the sorrow of the families of the lost astronauts. Some wrote of dreams that, despite the tragedy, someday maybe they would explore space themselves. Today we publish a special edition of Xpressions devoted to young readers' thoughts and depictions of the Space Shuttle Columbia. February's regular Xpressions will appear next Monday.
