Duke routs Wake Forest

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Alana Beard and Sheana Mosch scored 14 each as No. 2 Duke beat Wake Forest 83-41 Monday night, winning its 36th straight conference game.

The Blue Devils (24-1, 12-0 ACC) had 18 steals and forced 24 turnovers. Duje plays No. 6 North Carolina on Thursday for first in the league.

Tiffani Listenbee had 17 points to lead the Demon Deacons (11-12, 2-11), who shot 35 percent.

The Blue Devils used a 15-0 run to take a 40-13 lead. Mosch scored seven in the run, while the Demon Deacons went 8:46 without a point.

POLL: Connecticut was unanimous at No. 1 for the third straight week and Texas moved to No. 10.

SAINT LEO: Junior guard September Harrison was named Sunshine State Conference player of the week. In two games she averaged 18 points, 10.5 rebounds, 6.5 steals, two assists and one block.
