BON AIR -- Aerial Innovations, a South Tampa company that goes to soaring heights for the perfect photo, has opened a gallery at its offices to showcase the work of its photographers.

The gallery at 3703 W Azeele St. kicks off with an exhibit by Jenny Brockwell titled Old Florida Landscapes -- Historical Gems. Brockwell, a photographer and production manager for Aerial Innovations, has traveled across Florida shooting state parks, old tobacco warehouses, vintage trucks and wooden shacks.

A Florida native, Brockwell has more than 12 years in the photography business. She exhibited her work at last year's Gala Corina IV in Tampa Heights and currently has pieces at the Tampa City Center as part of the Art Pros Group show Luminescence.

Her works will remain on display at the Aerial Innovations Gallery through May. Each piece is custom-printed on fiber-based paper, framed and signed by the artist. Proceeds go directly to the photographers.

Owner and president Colette Eddy started the gallery to give her mostly female staff another venue for their art. In the past 15 years, her company has shot thousands of photos of houses, vacant lots and construction projects from inside small planes and helicopters.

Her office, a converted 1945 house, made for an ideal gallery, with its artwork, personalized decor and elements of feng shui. Each exhibit will rotate every three months.

"I employ visual artists," Eddy said. "We are not a bunch of hacks hanging out of a chopper taking photos."
