Ybor City
A group of 23 singers, dancers and musicians will give an afternoon performance in Ybor City.

Groupo Pleamar, a musical ensemble from Spain, makes its second stop in Florida on Sunday.
After a show at the St. Augustine Menendez Festival, Pleamar will travel to Tampa for one performance at the Centro Asturiano de Tampa, at Nebraska and Palm avenues in Ybor City.
Pleamar, known for Spanish bagpipes and original dance, consists of 23 singers, dancers and musicians.
Spain is known for flamenco dancers and guitar music, yet Pleamar represents music and dance from Spain's northern province of Asturias. The music features a Spanish bagpipe called la gaita, brought to Spain by the Romans more than 2,000 years ago, and la jota, a dance of Arabic origin, which adds to Pleamar's originality.
The group's elaborate costumes represent different regions of the province.
Centro Asturiano de Tampa, a cultural and social resource for many Spanish residents of Tampa, hosts at least one musical group from Spain each year.
Pleamar will perform at 4 p.m. in the 600-seat theater. Tickets are $15, or $10 for students and seniors. To get more information or order tickets, call 224-9185.
