The Spartans and Tritons will meet in two first-round matchups of the Sunshine State Conference tournaments at the George Jenkins Fieldhouse in Lakeland.

Tampa's women (21-6, 11-3), the No. 2 seed, play Eckerd (12-15, 3-11), the No. 7 seed, at 5:30 p.m. Friday. Eckerd's men (21-5, 10-4), the No. 3 seed, play Tampa (15-11, 6-8), the No. 6 seed, at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Saint Leo's men (6-20, 2-12) are the No. 7 seed and face Florida Southern in Saturday's final first-round matchup at 8 p.m. The women (13-14, 5-9) are the No. 6 seed and face Rollins at 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Florida Southern's women earned the No. 1 seed over Tampa on a coin flip.

Both teams finished 11-3, split their two games and had identical records against the other conference teams.
