BACKGROUND: Radcliffe has served the town the past 31 years as mayor, commissioner and chairman of the planning and zoning board. A native of New Bedford, Mass., Radcliffe earned an engineering degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and left the service in 1946 as a major. Professionally, he was a consulting engineer, specializing in municipal engineering projects. Radcliffe, now retired, has been a homeowner in Pinellas County since 1958 and became a resident of North Redington Beach in 1970. He is a charter board member of the Juvenile Services Program, and serves on the Barrier Islands Governmental Council. He has been married for 60 years. ASSETS: home, real estate. BACKGROUND: Yost is the broker/owner of Redington Realty and specializes in waterfront residential real estate. He previously was a partner in West Shore Realty, was a Realtor at Merrill Lynch Realty in Clearwater, and was a district sales manager for Reuben H. Donnelly Corp. Yost was first appointed to the Town Commission in 1988 and, with the exception of a one-year break, has served as a commissioner since that time. He was vice president of D.C. Republicans in 1966 and worked for several candidates campaigning in Maryland. A native of San Antonio, Texas, Yost attended the University of Maryland and served in the Army.
