Riverview Raiders signing up players, cheerleaders

RIVERVIEW -- The Riverview Raiders are registering cheerleaders, flag football and football players ages 5 to 16. Cheer coaches and assistant coaches are also needed. Register from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 15 at Riverview Park, 7807 Capitan Drive. Bring original birth certificate, copy of birth certificate, recent photo and a check for the registration fee. Step up for T-ball or sit out the season
BRANDON -- Today is the last day of T-ball registration at the Brandon Community Center, 510 Sadie St. The program, sponsored by the Hillsborough County Parks and Recreation Department, is open to youngsters ages 3 to 10. The registration fee is $15 and includes a hat, T-shirt and a souvenir. Checks or money orders should be made payable to the Friends of the County Parks. Team assignments will be made the first week of March and practice begins March 10. Recreational games and instruction begin March 31 and the season runs through April 28. Volunteers are needed.
