THE ART OF RECYCLING, an exhibit of creations made of recycled materials by Pasco County students, concludes today at West Pasco County Government Center, 7530 Little Road, New Port Richey. Admission is free.

MUSIC IN THE GALLERY continues at Pasco Arts Center with a show by folk singer Mike Jurgensen at 7 p.m. Sunday ($8 in advance, $10 at the door); and Sheila Kirsten Hughes and Rebekah Pulley at 7 p.m. April 27 ($9 in advance; $11 at the door).

JOHN TIMPANELLI will sing and do impressions at 7 p.m. Monday at the Jewish Community Center of West Pasco, 9841 Scenic Drive, Port Richey. Admission is $3.

KICKING UP OUR HEELS, a variety show, will be presented Tuesday by actors and singers from the Show Palace Dinner Theatre at the theater, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson. The show is produced by actor Matthew McGee (Jocko in Gypsy; Dame Edith impersonator) and features jazz singer Sara DelBeato, singer/comedian Susan Haldeman (Mazeppa in Gypsy) and special guest, dancer Troy LaFon. Doors open at 6 p.m. for cash bar, double buffet dinner at 6:30 p.m., show at 8 p.m. Dinner and show are $30 and on sale at the Timber Pines Lodge from 10 a.m. to noon weekdays or call Barbara at (352) 666-9280. THEATER WORKSHOP

REGISTRATION FOR A SERIES of acting workshops will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Richey Suncoast Theatre, 6237 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. The workshops will be March 8, 15, 22 and 29 and April 5 at times to be announced. The workshops include basic acting for beginners, intermediate acting for those who wish to polish and refine their skills, character creation, voice and diction, interpretation and presentational skills for television commercials, and pantomime.
