Bridget Fonda was hospitalized Thursday after a car accident in Los Angeles, reports People magazine.

Los Angeles County sheriff's Sgt. Ken Scheurn says the Single White Female and Monkeybone star, 39, lost control of her 1998 Jaguar at 7:20 a.m. while driving in heavy rain on a steep incline of the Pacific Coast Highway. The car was totaled.

Fonda, who reportedly had been wearing her seat belt, was transported to UCLA Medical Center with minor injuries.

Calling it a weather-related accident, Scheurn also said there was no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.

Fonda's publicist, Nancy Seltzer, says the actor is doing fine.

Donaldson staying with ABC

Sam Donaldson is staying put.

The 68-year-old veteran ABC newsman was in talks with MSNBC about a prime-time talk show, but those negotiations have ended without a deal, network representatives said Friday.

Struggling MSNBC still has its eyes open for a new prime-time host, after this week's firing of Phil Donahue.

Rapper injured in bus crash

Rapper Keith Murray, best known for his hit The Most Beautifullest Thing in This World, suffered minor injuries Thursday after his tour bus flipped over twice and hit several cars on a North Carolina highway, his publicist said.

The bus flipped over, hit a guardrail and struck other vehicles after the driver attempted to avoid another accident on Interstate 85 near Durham on Thursday morning, said Cara Donatto, a publicist at Murray's label, Def Jam Records.

Murray, the driver and another passenger on the bus were taken to Maria Parham Hospital in nearby Henderson, where they were treated for minor injuries, she said.
