Homosassa man is arrested on marijuana, gun chargesBy Times staff writer© St. Petersburg Times published March 2, 2003 HOMOSASSA -- A Homosassa man was arrested Friday after 216 grams of marijuana, $120 and a gun were found in his home, an arrest report said. Phillip Mark Dew, 20, of 4925 Roebuck Way was outside and ran when Citrus County Sheriff's Office investigators arrived Friday afternoon with a search warrant, an arrest report showed. Dew was chased inside and held there, along with another person found inside. The report said Dew told police they could find the drugs on top of a room lamp in his bedroom and in a cabinet above the kitchen sink. On the bedroom floor, investigators found a Nike shoe box holding more marijuana and $120, and under the bed was a gun, the report showed. A smoking pipe also was found. The report said Dew told police he sells the drugs. He was charged with possessing cannabis with intent to sell, drug paraphernalia and a gun. Saturday, Dew remained at the county jail, where he was held on $10,500 bail.
