The event includes a display, pictures of decorating dilemmas, a question-and-answer session, refreshments and an appearance by Colleen Grant, regional director of Decor and You. Call 457-5747. The medical staff at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point has elected officers: L. Venu, chief of staff; M. DeSantis, vice chief of staff; J. Pascual, secretary/treasurer; M. Eberbach, chief of surgery; G. Giannakopoulos, vice chief of surgery; K. Zaki, chief of medicine; Narendra Patel, vice chief of medicine; Sing Long Chan, chairman of Department of Anesthesia; Andrew Jones, chairman of Department of Pathology; Lance Kreplik, chairman of Emergency Department; Todd Kaplan, chairman of Radiology Department. The new officers' terms are for two years. R. Vijayanaga M.D., cardiac surgeon and medical director of the Heart Institute at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, has been appointed chairman of the Florida Board of Medicine. Gov. Jeb Bush reappointed Vijayanaga to four more years on the board. When the office became vacant, Vijayanaga was unanimously elected as the chairman. He has practiced cardiovascular and thoracic surgery in the Tampa area for almost 30 years. Prudential Tropical Realty's A Team Cynthia and Greg Armstrong and Bill Bunting are January's top listing and selling agents for the New Port Richey office. At the Port Richey office, Chris Hartley was January's top listing agent and Linda Wirshels was top selling agent. Also, Mikki Rice has joined the New Port Richey office. She plans to focus on residential real estate in the Port Richey and New Port Richey areas. She earned her associate of arts degree from the University of Phoenix and volunteers as a youth leader in her church. BriefsThe Pasco Building Association 2003 Parade of Homes Neighborhoods on Parade will be April 26 through May 11. PBA is calling upon builders, developers and communities to enroll in the event, which attracts thousands during its two-week run. The Florida self-storage industry continues to grow. The newest addition is Nationwide Self Storage in New Port Richey on the corner of Seven Springs and Mitchell boulevards. Wal Den Greene Developers Inc. has been selected as site contractor for the Sabals Townhomes, a densely wooded 20-acre townhome community off Mitchell Boulevard, New Port Richey, just north of the Pinellas-Pasco county line.
