Stroll through what's new in art
St. Petersburg arts organizations and galleries listed below host their monthly Downtown Arts Association Gallery Walk from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Most will have new art up on the walls, including the Arts Center, with five new exhibits that have as their theme "African-American Spirit Through the Eyes of the Artist." Another spot of interest is ArtSpace, not a gallery but a collection of artists' studios above Florida Craftsmen Gallery. Many of the artists will open their studio doors for show and sale, including Ray Smenner, whose Four Evangelists is shown above. The event is free. For information, call (727) 821-6767.
