MUSIC AFTER SCHOOL: The Hernando Heritage Council will host the Afternoon Delight Music Festival at the Historic Hernando School, at U.S. 41 and County Road 486, from 12:30 to 4:40 p.m. Saturday. Performers include the Citrus Community Band, Angela Vick, Paul Stevio, United Voices of Praise, Sally Langlois, Citrus High Chamber Ensemble, Joann Hettel, Brendan Luce and Powerhouse. SUSPENSE: The suspense thriller Wait Until Dark continues this weekend at Playhouse 19, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. The play runs Thursdays through Sundays until March 23. PLAY: The Owl & the Pussycat written by Bill Manhoff, directed by Fran Barg will be performed at the Art League Art Center Theatre, March 21-23. Friday and Saturday show times are 8 p.m., and Sunday is 2 p.m.

INDIAN DAYS: The annual Fort Cooper Days event, which features a historically accurate re-enactment of a battle between Seminole Indians and U.S. Army soldiers, will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 22 and 23 at Fort Cooper State Park, 3100 S Old Floral City Road. Admission is $4 for adults and $1 for people under 17. Battles at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Free parking. Call 726-0315.

CLASSIC ROCK: Creedence Clearwater Revisited will play the classic rock hits of its namesake, Creedence Clearwater Revival, at 7 p.m. March 29 at Rock Crusher Canyon Amphitheater, 275 S Rock Crusher Road. The band includes Stu Cook and Doug Clifford, the rhythm section of the original Creedence, but is without lead singer and songwriter John Fogerty. Tickets are $25 and $45. AUDITIONS: The Citrus County Art League will have auditions for Mornings At Seven at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Cultural Center, 2644 N Annapolis Ave., Citrus Hills. The play, written by Paul Osborn and directed by Joyce Reynolds, is a look at small-town America in the early 30s. The cast calls for four men and five women of varying ages. COUNTRY: Country music on Saturday, followed by a Swing band on Sunday, awaits fans at Silver Springs. Randy Travis will perform his great hits such as Diggin' Up Bones and Forever and Ever, Amen during Saturday's concert. The three-time Grammy winner has a new album, Rise and Shine. Margo Rochelle opens at noon, and Travis will perform at 3 p.m. Saturday. On Sunday, the big band sound of the '30s and '40s is showcased as the 16-piece Hooked on Swing Band performs at 2 and 3:30 p.m. All concerts are included in the admission price, which is $22.99 for Florida residents. Silver Springs is 1 mile east of Ocala on State Road 40.
