Susie Nolan Marler has been named sales and marketing manager and Suzanne Soto has been named contract administrator for MiraBay. Marler was marketing director for Leslie Land Corp., Tampa; and Soto was a senior lease administrator for Cushman & Wakefield, New York.

ELECTRICAL

Al Garcia has been named vice president/administration for Seminole Electric Cooperative Inc., Tampa. Garcia was vice president/administration and human resources for Sagus International LLC, Temple, Texas.

FINANCE

William C. "Bill" Van Law III has been named senior vice president and regional manager for the mid Atlantic region for Raymond James & Associates, St. Petersburg. Van Law was director for Merrill Lynch in Greensboro, N.C.

HOSPITALITY

TradeWinds Island Resorts, St. Pete Beach, announced that Linda Elland has been named director of sales; Jay Chambers has been named national sales manager, West Coast market; Melissa Sparks has been named national sales manager for the Northeast market; and Lynda Waters has been promoted to director of marketing. Elland was an independent consultant for Meeting Expectations, Sanibel; Chambers was a sales manager for Adams Mark Hotels & Resorts, Dallas; Sparks was a sales manager for the northeast market at South Seas Resort, Captiva Island; and Waters was director of marketing services.

John A. Schifino has been named a shareholder at the law firm of Williams Schifino Mangione & Steady, Tampa. Schifino was an associate.

PROFESSIONAL

Jeffrey P. Caine has been elected president of the Seminole Mall Merchant Association. Caine is manager of Vanco Hearing Centers Seminole Mall location.

Dr. Richard Gerson has been appointed to the following boards: board of governors of the Centre Club; the Suncoast Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development as vice president of marketing; and the Tampa Bay Chapter of the International Society for Performance Improvement as president-elect. Venetia Albritton has been named chief office administrator for Colliers Arnold Commercial Real Estate Services Inc., Clearwater. Albritton was an office services administrator for CB Richard Ellis, Tampa.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS

Joe Privitera has been named chief operating officer for Telecommunications Asset Management Company, Clearwater. Privitera will continue to serve as the company's executive vice president.
