Organist -- Karl Paukert gives an organ recital March 28 at the Music Center of St. Petersburg College. Free.

Desperados -- The Stageworks premiere of Desperados by Ray Zacek runs March 28-April 13 at Gorilla Theatre. $7-$19.

Macbeth -- Sarasota Opera stages the original version of Verdi's Macbeth March 28 and April 2. $17-$82.

Tsuru -- USF students perform The Tale of Tsuru, adapted by director Allison Williams from the Japanese play by Michiko Kondo, April 3-12 at Theatre 1 in Tampa. $5, $10.

Choir -- On April 6, the Tampa Bay Concert Choir sings Bach's Magnificat and Vivaldi's Gloria at Octagon Arts Center/Unitarian Universalists of Clearwater. $10, $12.

Duo -- Clarinetist Richard Stoltzman and pianist Emanuel Ax perform April 8 at Ruth Eckerd Hall. $30, $40.

Lang -- Pianist Lang Lang plays Schumann, Haydn, Brahms and Chopin in recital April 9 at Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. $20-$42.

Park -- American Stage's Shakespeare in the Park is Romeo and Juliet, April 11-May 11. $11-$22.

Piano -- Andrew Rangell has a piano recital April 27 at the Museum of Fine Arts. $7, $15.
