NEW PORT RICHEY -- New Port Richey police arrested three people Friday in connection with a prostitution ring on Missouri Avenue, Cpl. Jackie Pehote said.

Pehote said two women, Diane Williams, 45, 4814 Whitetail Lane, and Sharon Korogodon, 47, 5451 Windward Way, advertised for massage and sexual services in adult magazines and met customers at a house they were renting at 5830 Missouri Ave. The homeowner apparently did not know what the women were doing, Pehote said.

Neighbors called police in January and reported suspicious activity at the house, Pehote said. Police set up surveillance in January.

Last month, officers began pulling over men on traffic violations after they left the house, Pehote said. The men gave police enough information to send in a confidential informant, Pehote said.

Police carried out a search warrant at 4 p.m. Friday and arrested the women on charges of prostitution and renting a space for prostitution, Pehote said. Police also arrested David Gross, 45, of Palm Harbor, on a charge of solicitation of prostitution, Pehote said.

They were being taken to the Land O'Lakes jail Friday evening.
