AUBURN

Senior forward Marquis Daniels, realizing the Tigers had beaten Wake Forest:

"I won't tell you what I wanted to do. Many guys that play in college don't get a chance to advance to the Sweet 16. It's a great feeling."

Coach Cliff Ellis on if the excitement wears off:

"When you go to the Sweet 16, I'm telling you, it is so gratifying. This is the third time for me, and the feeling is so wonderful that I have the same feeling."

Daniels on playing 42 minutes Friday against Saint Joseph's and coming back Sunday:

"I went to sleep early last night. Getting in foul trouble (and sitting out) helped, too."

"Winning the ACC was big emotionally. We lost to two good NCAA Tournament teams before this game. We put a lot into it, but I don't know what our guys were thinking today."
