Course designer Steve Stephens of Palmetto, who has designed the Invitational for 17 years, always creates beautifully decorated obstacles. Showgoers can walk the course before show time at 7 p.m.
Advance tickets are $20, $30 and 60 for a family four-pack. Tickets are $25, $35 and $70 for the four-pack at the gate. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster (813) 287-8844 or (727) 898-2100.

Music to soothe the savage beast
The Florida Orchestra brings one of its free outdoor concerts to a new venue Friday night: the bandshell in Lowry Park. Bring a blanket, a picnic and enjoy music by Dvorak, Grainger, Bernstein, Brahms, Rodgers, Sousa and others under the stars at this event designed for the whole family. Chelsea Tipton is the guest conductor.
Normally, the orchestra's free outdoor concerts culminate with fireworks, but there will be no fireworks Saturday because the concert is so near the animals at Lowry Park Zoo.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. Friday in the Lowry Park Bandshell, Sligh Avenue and N Boulevard, Tampa. (813) 286-1170.
