3-day food sale to benefit youths' 'Thank You Party'

TOWN 'N COUNTRY -- If you want to contribute to a good cause and get a bite to eat at the same time, look for a group of teens this weekend at the Publix at Hanley Road and Waters Avenue.

Members of the Town 'N Country Youth Council will sell hot dogs and soft drinks today through Sunday inside the store.

The Youth Council is raising money to help pay for a "Thank You Party," which will begin immediately after the April 26 Great American Cleanup, said Rob Gamester, co-founder of the youth group.

The party, co-hosted by Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation, will be held from noon until 2 p.m. at the Town 'N Country Recreation Center on Hanley Road.
