Time running out on spiny lobster season

A reminder that spiny lobster season ends Tuesday. The closed season in Florida runs until Aug. 5, with the exception of the last consecutive Wednesday and Thursday in July. That leaves precious few days to stock up on the crawfish, as they also are known. The limit is 24 per vessel or six per person per day. A crawfish permit is required.
